Newspaper and yearbook are offered as non-honors credit the first year and honors credit for 2nd and 3rd year students. The newspaper, The Pantherette, comes out on the following dates: Sept. 21, Oct. 21, Nov. 18, Dec. 13, Feb. 2, Mar. 8, Apr. 12, and May 19. The yearbook, The Panther, will be delivered to students in May. Newspaper students will be participating in the Fort Worth Journalism Project and UIL in the spring. Returning yearbook students will attend Jostens yearbook camp over the summer. Paschal's own literary magazine, The Vignette, is published at the end of the year in May as a part of the semester-long Creative Writing class. This publication contains student and faculty short stories, poetry, narratives, art, and photography.
