The goal of the Purple Elite Dance Team is to provide an opportunity for girls who enjoy different types of dance. The main focus is to have fun and enjoy what we do, as well as enjoy all the people around us. We perform at school pep rallies, girls and boys basketball games, and competitions in the winter. We have been in existence since the fall of 2005, and are still going strong as we enter our 2nd year.

This year we look forward to repeating our division one rating received at the Crowd Pleasers Regionals and the American Dance/Drill Team Nationals/Internationals competition last year in Denton. This class fulfils a half credit of the P.E. requirement per semester. Tryouts are held in late spring of each year to do determine officers and members for the following year's team.
