The Honors College
The Honors College at the University
of Texas at Arlington is a community of exceptionally capable and highly
motivated undergraduates who seek the excitement and stimulation of a major
urban university along with the individual attention provided in honors
courses. The College promotes creative inquiry among students and faculty
within a challenging academic environment. Students enroll in
multidisciplinary courses, seminars and colloquia, and pursue internship,
service learning and study abroad experiences designed to extend their academic
experiences beyond the classroom. The College sponsors lecture series, regional
field trips and other scholarly and social events that complement the academic
program.
